at Anaheim Convention Center on January 15 at 10am
Anaheim, CA – January 12, 2010 – Beamz Interactive, an interactive music products company, today announced top jazz musician Euge Groove will begin re-recording his top-hit songs into a new innovative format so his fans can listen and interact with his music in a whole new way. Euge Groove will also perform using the Beamz at the 2010 NAMM Conference in the Anaheim Convention Center (Booth #6110) on January 15 at 10am. Resulting from the release of Beamz Studio Software at Summer NAMM, Euge Groove has embraced the Beamz and is creating interactive versions of his original music. The new content will be marketed to all Beamz users through the Beamz website as well as Euge Groove’s website.
In addition, Beamz Interactive will provide a special NAMM take away DVD to present and showcase how artists are embracing the Beamz instrument with their music. The take away DVD will include the Beamz Player Software for users to test drive the Beamz software interface on their computers; interactive versions of new artists’ songs and artist videos from Craig Chaquico, David Ellefson, Euge Groove and the inventor Jerry Riopelle; and MP3 recordings of these artists playing the interactive Beamz version of their original songs.
“From the moment I saw the Beamz music instrument, I was intrigued,” said Euge Groove. “Because it is fun and interactive, the Beamz gives any artist’s original music a boost. When listening to my top-hits in the new Beamz Interactive format, fans will not only be entertained, but they can also learn about the form of the composition, isolate the different instruments, and even change the ending if they want. And the $199.95 price point makes this electronic musical instrument affordable and available to anyone!”
For over 20 years, Euge Groove has been delighting his fans with award-winning Jazz ensembles. His album Born2Groove debuted at #1 and spent 18 months on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart. He has had many Top 10 songs, several reaching #1 including B2G, Religify, SlamDunk, Rewind and Get Em Going. Euge toured with Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Eros Ramazotti, Richard Marx, Tower of Power and Huey Lewis and the News. In addition, he has supported Paula Abdul, Heart, Elton John, Aaron Neville, Bonnie Raitt and David Benoit as a recording artist.
“With more top music artists embracing this new, interactive format for their music, we continue to receive validation in the market for our product and overall vision,” said Beamz Interactive CEO Charles Mollo. “Euge Groove has a great reputation in the world of Jazz and we are delighted to partner with him and to expand our Beamz song library with versions of his top hit songs.”
How the Beamz Works
The Beamz is an amazing interactive musical instrument that anyone can play. It allows you to create music by passing your hands through six laser beams, triggering streams of musical notes. Each beam controls a different, pre-programmed instrument, rhythm or sound. With the Beamz, anyone can enjoy the benefits of musical expression, regardless of musical background. Beamz software also includes the option to easily record your music performances – making your own songs for playback as a WAV or Windows Media File. The Beamz includes two music CDs, featuring 30 free original interactive Beamz songs from a variety of music categories or genres including rock, jazz, blues, reggae, country, hip hop, Latin and classical. The Beamz website offers a music library with over a hundred different songs, including original, top hits and kids songs, for purchase. In addition, players can now access a new interactive music game using the Beamz called ShadowBeamz, recently launched at CES. ShadowBeamz can be downloaded at www.theBeamz.com for FREE.
