Latest Release
Vinyl Station is getting ready to kick down the music industry’s door. Launched in 2009 by former Gin Blossoms drummer Scott Kusmirekand singer/songwriter Matthew Thornton, the Phoenix, Arizona-based quartet has just released their debut EP ‘In The Doorway.’ Throughout this seven-track collection, the group beautifully weaves elements of folk rock with power pop delight, which provides a triggering energy to records like “Gone” and “Ghost Of a Man.” Other highlights include a cover of Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and the band’s single “Confess,” which was written by Gin Blossom’s guitarist Jesse Valenzuela for the upcoming Farrelly Brothers comedy ‘Hall Pass.’ Vinyl Station may be ‘In The Doorway,’ but they’re about to tear the house down!
