Support Options

Important notes – in order for Beamz software applications to run properly:

- Windows XP users must be running service pack 2 and have .NET 2.0 Framework installed
(click here to get .NET 2.0)

- Windows Vista users must be running service pack 2 and then must install all the important updates recommended by Microsoft.

Software Updates

Using the latest versions of our the Beamz Player or Beamz Studio software will provide you the best experience with our interactive music systems. New updates are posted to the site as soon as they are publically available.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VISTA 64 bit USERS: For the Beamz Player software and Beamz instrument to work properly, you MUST be running service pack 2 and have your system up to date with Microsoft recommended updates – if needed, here is the Microsoft download page. If you are uncertain what type of operating system you have, refer to this Microsoft FAQ link for instructions.

The Beamz player is a dynamic audio and visual music system. We have videos showing the interactive experience from many different perspectives. There are some introductions to the Beamz player below as well as videos offering performances and even training.

We strive to respond to support emails received within one business day after receipt. The technical support team is also available by phone Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm Arizona time, excluding national holidays at 888.724.7380.

The technical support team has been trained to serve customers for the following issues:

  • Installation: Software – troubleshooting installation problems or errors in running applications
  • Installation: Hardware – getting the hardware up and running; device not recognized/driver installation issues
  • Usability: Software – verifying that the user has the required service packs for the Beamz Software to run (XP & Vista users)
  • Usability: Hardware – troubleshooting problems with hardware (beams lasers not behaving as they should)
